Maw Poe Myar has joined Interim Executive Council of Karenni State (IEC) as a member since its commencement in 2023. She has over ten years of working experience in different international organizations both within Myanmar and in foreign countries. Currently, she takes the leading role in the IEC cabinet and works as a treasurer for planning, managing and evaluating public financing. As a treasurer, she plays an instrumental role in implementing public finance policies. Her expertise in public financial management and budgeting fosters the effective application of public finance in providing public services, humanitarian response and promoting economic growth and development. By taking the crucial role, her meticulous attention to public financial management creates effective and efficient public financial management in the Interim period in Karenni State.
